Exciting Day

Today we are off down to Brighton to a posh hotel for a gala lunch and award ceremony. I have managed to reach the regional finals of the Barclays Trading Places Business Awards which is for people who have turned their lives around after adversity by starting out in business – that’s me!
Jill, as my biggest fan, nominated me and I was amazed when I got the phone call. There are 10 regional finalists. One is picked from each region to go through to the national final in London in September. Good prizes – and good PR too which is good.
I will let you know how I got on later.
