Dyslexic entrepreneur John Tipping has acute dyslexia, he can’t read and can’t write.

In spite of this, with the help of his wife, Jill Tipping, he successfully manages his business interests.

With the assistance of ghost writer Frances Kavanagh John has written a book about his life story “Go play in the sand, John” – a moving story of how a remarkable man overcame the struggle against being labelled as thick or stupid.

John and other adult dyslexics were recently featured in the Channel 4 series “Can’t Read, Can’t Write” – he was helped by leading dyslexia teaching expert Phil Beadle, but despite a mammoth effort John was unable to untagle the letters and words and made little progress.

He is currently working with a new teaching method, by Ruth Miskin, and feels that he has at last found a method that might just work for him.
